about the Artist

To me, art is a way to tell a story without opening your mouth. I’m Emily Piano, and for as long as I can remember I have loved art. From paintings to doodles on my math tests, you can’t keep me away from it. I currently live in Fort Wayne Indiana. My favorite type of art to create, by far, is sketching. give me a pencil and paper and I could disappear for hours. Not literally disappear, but more than likely I will forget where I am after a while.

The pieces I included all represent who I am as an artist. Sketchbook samples, an ink piece that tells a story, a painting, colored pencil work, and, of course, sweatshirts I designed. whether it is something for someone else, or something simply for fun, I am almost always doing something creative.
